On 27th March 2017, Mr. Christophe Germain, Vice President of Audencia Business School and Mr. Pierre Shi, Director of China Office visited the School of Business Administration (SBA), Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE).
Prof. Gang Kou, Executive Dean of SBA, Mrs.Guangrong Xu, Deputy Director of Division of Finance of SWUFE, Prof. Shilei Yang, Associate Dean of SBA, Prof. Xiaorong Fu, Associate Dean of SBA, and Prof. Mingfeng Tang, Director of International Affairs Office and China-France Innovative Research Center of SBA participated in the meeting, which was held at A413, Tongbo building in Liulin Campus. Both sides had a further discussion on the construction of the professor team, recruiting and disseminating of the 4+0 joint bachelor degree program.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Gang Kou warmly greeted the fourth visit of the represents of Audencia. Later, both sides reviewed the progress of the 4+0 joint bachelor degree program including preparing for advertising the program, deploying the professors of Audencia and improving the teaching facilities. At last, both sides discussed the progress of the program and agreed to strengthen the cooperation between two schools in a wider range of areas.
Founded in 1900, Audencia Business School is considered as one of the top business schools in France and it has been accredited by AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA. In 2016, the 4+0 Bachelor Program was formally permitted by the Ministry of Education of China and would be implemented from the fall of this year. As the very first business school that is accredited by EQUIS in mid-western part of China, SBA is aimed to cultivate students majoring Marketing with professional, pragmatic and innovative outlook and skills. This program provides students with French style studying environment, strengthens the innovative and international skills of them, helps them master the business culture differences under Eastern and Western environment, and instills into them the awareness of social responsibility. The future graduates would be able to work in the financial service and marketing field of international finance institutions, companies and organizations. Mr. Christophe Germain, Vice President of Audencia Business School expressed his confidence on the program and the mutual cooperation. SBA would soon be prepared for the recruiting process, ensuring it would turn out to be a success.
