The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) commits to attracting top-quality scholars and is dedicated
to leading-edge research innovation and managerial education. FBA integrates faculty members from its
affiliated schools and manages the team through a set of standardised recruitment, appraisal and
promotion policies and practices. SWUFE was the first institution to implement university-level tenure
track system for all new faculty members in mainland China, and has been acclaimed as a model
university by the Chinese Ministry of Education. FBA maintains a set of faculty recruitment policies to
attract talented individuals and has built a team and an inspiring environment for research and teaching.
● FBA has one faculty member in the 'Ten Thousand Talents Program' and two faculty members in the
'Recruitment Programme of Global Experts', two of the most prestigious talent search programmes
endowed by the central government. Furthermore, FBA has two 'Excellent Youth Fund Scholars' from the
National Natural Science Foundation, four 'Chair Professors of Changjiang Program' and seven 'New
Century Excellent Talented Individuals Awards' from the Ministry of Education (MOE). FBA also has one
scholar with the title of 'National Academic Leader in Accounting', granted by the Ministry of the Treasury.
